    Challenging the pregnant woman?

Posted on Feb 5, 2008 14:21 by kawaugh

Well, I must say that Bill is far off when guessing why I have not added a blog to the website.  I am sorry that I don't have as much free time at work as he does to post entries or that I am not as much of a computer nerd as he is, but I do care!  I was just nagging him last night for spending more time with his computer than with me - his lovely wife that is pregnant with his child.  Soon enough he will not have time for his computer when there are diapers to change and a crying mouth to feed.  And there will be less time to watch his precious Tigers lose to KU - as they did last night!!!

Well, I must say that the pregnancy has been quiet so far.  Not much morning sickness - mainly just stomach aches off and on during the day but those are getting better.  I did finally go buy my first pair of maternity pants last week.  So much more comfortable!  I am trying not to buy too many as I really don't know just how quickly my stomach area will be expanding!!!

I must say that the most interesting part of all of this is the way that Bill has been reacting.  Our first visit to the doctor's office was priceless as he wandered down the halls terrified to look at anything in case he saw something he didn't want to.  Then he will occasionally pick up the "What to Expect When Expecting" book and read something from there, have a look of complete terror on his face, and then look at me wandering if that is really going to happen to me.  But the best part is that he thinks the baby is his excuse for gettng a new car.  Little does he know that I will probably end up driving the car more than him because deep down he knows that we want the baby to be in the bigger safer car.  :)

So that is all for my first entry.  Stay tuned for more interesting news and tidbits.  And feel free to add comments on who you think should get to drive the new SUV.  Ha!

Yay! You posted. Laughing Now about that car - skip straight to the mini-van. I wish I had.
